VIN location

Can someone tell me the places the VIN numbers are located on a mk2 172

On the driver door B piller down at the bottom.

thanks edde, is there one in the engine bay? or on a panel displayed in the bottom corner of the windscreen on the passender side?

also I've heard theres a etched panel on one of the wheel arches...is that right??

none in the engine bay one on the n/s of dashboard in the panel and theres one stamped under the drivers seat under the carpet but very hard to see.

thanks, is it easy enough to inspect when viewing a car?

do reanault etch the windows with a reg or VIN?

I wanna make sure i dont buy a ringer or anythin
