Renaultsport Clio 182
Driving down an A-road doing 70 this morning & my steering wheel started shaking violently & car felt difficult to control. Pulled on to hard shoulder thinking it could be a flat or even possibly a loose wheel but all looked good.
Turned off engine left a minute or 2 then restarted and tried to drive it again. AAll felt fine for about 3 minutes then it started doing the same again so pulled over once more. Did the same off/on with the engine and drove into work without any more issues?
Any ideas what it could be? I'd driven about 15 miles before it started. Thought maybe wheel balance at first but that would be a constant issue, not intermittent.
Im a bit worried now. It's sat outside work & got 22 miles to get home later...
