viper works a treat in the cold

has anyone with a viper kit found this cold weather a real bonus? my kit seams to be working lovely with the cold air!

i had mine fitted the other day mate and left the standard feed pipe in with the viper feed pipe and the cold that must be getting in there now is great...the car feels more responsove at low down revs and the sound is awesome..i travelled 125 miles on saturday and when i finally stoppped the viper was stone cold!!! marvellous

when u said u left the standard air intake pipe in do u mean u went through the same hole? i had trouble finding a good place for cold air! they say the passenger front wing is good!

Are these vipers worth the money then?.........just that someone came on another link saying he had put the standard air box back on and could hardly notice the difference between the two.

i think so mate...the noise is ace first of all...the car pics up like a b**ch now..a good test is putting it in fith and you will then see the difference...the clio engines are varied and so may be the results but im glad i bought it!!!..i fed the feed pipe down to the front bumper so its now facing directly in front to catch the air..the old feed pipe now comes up from the side and goes directly onto the viper cone itself...the other good news is that the car is now doing better mpg!!!

i really like mine. the car is def more responsive at lower revs. i tried connecting the viper to the standard air feed today but it got rid of all the benefits.

i just need to be arsed to take the front bumper off now to route is perfectly.

and that roar about 3-4K rpm is great!

yeah, id second that mate. a very noticeable difference for me over the standard pipercross i had on before.
