Viper

Clio Sport 172 Mk1

Anyone's car made a kind of whinning sound after installing a viper?

Just installed mine and its got a bit of a whine to it when it idles (not when revved). Almost sounds like alarm bells are going off. Can just be heard when bonnet is shut but fairly loud when bonnet is open...

Anyone any ideas?

u know the front piece of the viper u dont need that on if your not using the feeder pipe

also why havent u used the front feeder pipe even if it only draws air in from under the wing

I've left the two pipes connected to the right hand side. I've changed it around now because I bought the red hill power bend with it to and I decided to see what it looked like with the stock one. Put the red one on now and used the stock straps to hold it in place.

it will be the bottom tensioner bearing, nothing to do with ur viper, prob just a coincidence. get it changed as when the aux belt comes off they have a habbit of ripping the cam belt off
