After the incident with the deer i had last year i have been dreading my renewal; today

Anyways after phoning and speaking to loads of companys couldn't get it any less than £3200 (some where coming out at 5k! lol)

In the end, virgin car insurance could do it for £2214 and that includes being able to drive any other vehicle 3rd party, legal cover and a few other things i cant remember. Best of all, no extra charge for paying it with Direct Debit over 9 months

i thought mine was steep at 500 with all me mods declared and protected ncb

i suppose at least u have saved a grand! wouldnt pay 3300, thats over a third of the cars value, not far from half

if i couldn't have got it under £2400 i was going to sell the car.

well happy with that though tbh, hopefully its all downhill from here and can only drop in price from now on, so long as i dont claim again hehe

Virgin are my insurance company too!!! 941£ this yr! 40£ more than elephant. But with virgin i can pay monthly and not pay interest. Suits me fine.

I've just been getting quotes from Adrian Flux at £600 cheaper than anywhere else on a 172 I might be buying. Best I can get is £1100 with all the mods. Last year it was £2200.

I was going to go with Admiral until they tried to fleece me on the direct debit monthly payments. Might go instead with Greenlight or just stay with Direct Line - DL's price wasn't bad even with my mods declared.
