Vodafone, mobile wireless router?

Im looking into getting internet for my room, used to have a wirless broadband but have moved into single man room in a Block!

Looking at it for internet and hopefully to use the PS3 online, only really have 2 options, first is a internet box with ethernet cable(which is pretty slow), Or go for a vodafone Mobile wireless router which is 10gb of internet a month, would this work for the PS3 or would i just be waisting money? The guy in the shop doesnt reckon it will support it!

The ping would be the issue on the PS3. Your talking an instant 2 second ping using mobile broadband which makes games unplayable. Anything over a 50ms makes me cry tbh

I thought that, plus it will get slower the more its used, with the limit!
