voltage question

how come some amps say for example

500rms @ 2ohms @ 14.4v

400rms @ 2ohms @ 12v

how u ment to get more voltage? any help?

yeah amps get more power because the internal resistance of them doesnt change(more voltage = more current = more power )

you would usually get around 14.4v engine on and about 12v with it off

Youd be v lucky to get 14.4v.

i get 14.7v with the engine running, i upgraded my battery earths to 4AWG cable

14.4v = engine running

although, you will very rarely get those voltages with standard wiring etc.

Like Brun has done, you will need to upgrade the stock wiring. I am about to do the battery to chassis, alternator to battery, and engine to chassis to the 4awg that I am about to take out of my car (0awg going in)
