How do the two compare? Once you've bought the stuff required the PC and the meguiars aren't that different in price.

Machines are identical apart from one is branded Porter Cable (the actual makers) and the Meguiars one is re branded and badged up Meguiars.

If you get the Meguiars Badged Porter cable you still need to get the transformer etc.

When you talk of the Megs one you are not taliking about this one are you?

Yes although I can't see it on their site anymore. I thought it was rechargable? was on there for £99

mondial rjay was talking about a cabled meguiars one, its not available in the uk and is basically a rebadged porter cable, the uk battery powered one above wont remove swirls, it just doesnt have the power

Dont bother with it, save a bit more and get the PC, like Shaun says its not got the power for doing any paint correction.
