Had a little ride out on the North Yorks Moors today in the Vectra.

Quite impressed how it handled with 'sport mode' engaged - did a total of 200 miles at an average of 28mpg so not too bad.

Here are the shots......

  Trophy #490
Ribblehead viaduct? Brilliant road! Must've driven on there a hundred times in my old Clio Trophy, still yet to take the R26 up though.

Great photos. :)

Looking good, and good to see another VXR owner on here! You must have had some nice clear roads to get 28mpg out of it - I've done just over 4500 miles so far in mine (an '07 arden blue estate), and I'm averaging 23.4 on the computer, but have managed over 30 (only once) so far, which was a steady 70-75 motorway run!

I'm really pleased with mine so far - it's got a combination of space and performance that I don't think you could get anywhere else for the same money without going for a much older car!

Have you had yours mapped yet? I really want to get mine done, but a combination of a house move and a baby coming along in the next 2 months are going to mean it isn't going to happen soon!

I drive it like a nun when im not giving it some beans. I reset the trip when I bought it and have done around 1500 - 2000 miles and average 28.2mpg which is the same as I got in the 197.

Not had it mapped yet but there is a thorney motorsport centre just around the corner from me so definately gonna do it.
