w850i question

Right when iv switched it on after giving it a good charge etc, next to the the signal bars its got a blue swirly circle which i cant make out from the manual a. what its for b. if its supposed to be there and c. if it can be removed.

Iv had a k750i and w800i previous so know my way around the SE phones pretty well but never had this appear next to the signal bit on either of the previous phones before.

Im on Orange if this makes any difference.

Any ideas?

Haha class. My girlfriend got this icon for the first time on her 02 based w850i on Monday night too. She didnt have a clue what it was, and still doesnt.

It's a G for GPRS i think, mine's on orange and has one too

ive noticed this too on my 850i. I think you will find its the 3g singnal. (indicated by 3 circles if you look close)then when the signal gets to 1bar or less (red) it switches to normal signal.

Anyone know where this 'track id feature' is on this phone ??? where it records a few secs of the song then tells you all about it?

with thte 3g signal you can make video calls etc.
