Want a 172!!

Hi all! ive got a 1.2 at the mo, love it and spent loads of money on it but its just to slow! Looking about getting a 172 what sort of prices are they going for?
Also Ive just ad my back seats re upholstered and cobra daytona front seats put in. Would i be able to change the rear bench and door cards and put my ones in the 172 or are they different? Or should i just sell my 1.2 as it is???

mk1 172's can be had for around £4k, or a mint one for £6k
mk2 172's are going for a few grand more, £5k to £7k it seems..
and Mk2 182's are anything from £7k to about £10k still
and trophys are more still

You can swop seats and door panels between the two no problem.

^ wont be able to get the door cards into a mk1 172, but as above will be a straight swap into a ph2/182. I'd personally go for a ph1, but depends how much you've got to spend. i've just provisionally bought what looks like a minter with 45k for 4300 so they can be had cheaply!

100's on piston heads just have a scan ;x
