Want a quiet exhaust solution...

I've had my clio 172 for years now and had to replace the standard box with a magnex 6x4 backbox.

Its way to loud, ideally id like it back to standard but understand Renault would charge me a huge amount to replace it, any idea's what my best solution would be. I don't want a fancy performance exhaust I just want the quietest system possible, would I be best scouting ebay for a standard backbox and get a garage to fit... im not bothered about it lasting only 20,000 miles as I only do about 5k a year

hello,i'm new on the forum and i like it allready.
i am driving a clio II ph3 and looking for a new exhaust(the one now is rusty)
the orriginal from renault is way to expensive!!!!
could anyone help me out???

last car I worked on with one of those came out very under-powered. Exhaust slaughtered it. 10-15bhp down

in fairness it was a ninja stealth. Only way you can make an exhaust quieter though, it to restrict it.

I guess that figures. I'd much rather have more noise- power TBH.
