Wanted: Information on a RS200 Silverstone i am looking at

Hi Chaps,

I am hoping someone has come across the RS 200 Silverstone edition car i am about to buy. I'ts a 61reg and is number 48.

If someone here was the owner or knows the owner or has come across the car i'd be interested to hear from you! I am pretty sure its OK (the HPI is fine) but you never know the history of a 2nd hand car. I can give more detailed information in a PM. All - please dont pretend you know and make up stories/problems. Genuine information only

lol. Paranoid maybe, its done 6,500 and is having its service now. I just wonder why the previous owner got rid so soon.

The back looks straight as but you never can tell i guess as the reapir might have been a good one! I can give the reg if it prompts someones memory

I can to be honest agree with your paranoia as the car will obviously be a pretty penny. Trust the hpi check, take someone who knows bodywork with you.

Sometimes people do get rid so soon, regret of purchase, want out of the hpi etc. Its not unheard of.

Just tread carefully, make your own assumptions and most importantly - get a bargain.

48 is not on the register on 197.net-

there are 2 owners on 197.net looking to sell theirs- number 50 & 1 other-

may get a better deal if you can buy without finance-

Just a quick update after a HPI (garage did show me one but i wanted to have a proper look).

This car has had previous plates so if you recognise any of these and are/know the car owner and history let me know.

Private: W8TTT

Yup Glasgow. My mistake I thought it was Worcester.

Its ended up in Essex (Motorpoint).

Ahhhh i saw this for sale and thought bargain, they advertised it in the Glasgow Motorpoint too.
Surely it would tell on the V5 if it was a private keeper or fleet etc. My Megane was ex hire (AVIS) but came fully serviced etc and was immaculate - ex fleet would never put me off, usually huge savings to be had.
