Warning Light

Had my 172 for about 2 months now and in that time i have had the stop light light up on 2 occasions. I stopped on both occasions, but could neither hear nor see anything wrong, and on one of these occasions i was with a mechanic. The one time i was getting into high revs but the 2nd time i was doing about 50mph in 4th gear. May this be a faulty light or worth getting checked?

I might be wrong, but everytime a problem occurs like this, the ecu records the error. So probably best to pop into a Renault garage for them to check.

LOL!! Probably, but at the end of the day. Leaving it could make the problem worse/more expensive.
