warning light....

So have done a search on here and cant seem to find anything...

Just noticed something tonight, decided to give the car a bit of a run on the way home tonight... noticed that when the revs were nearing the limit, a green light on the bottom right of the dash popped up... didnt want to leave it there too long just in case so couldnt see exactly what the symbol was... can anyone tell me what this is telling me..

... its pretty much as far as you can go on the bottom right of the dash..

thats the shift light! telling you the rev limiters about to kick in and its time to shift up, kicks in at different revs depending on the temperature of the engine, nothing to worry about at all!

Ah phew thats alright then, had a feeling it was that

It's not a shift light.

It's a 'You've gone too far and should have changed gears ages ago' light.
