As most you know, my inferno 182 was stolen in December. I have recieved information (which is being investigated by the insurance & police) that the cars has been attempted to be sold.
There are so few numbers of infernos that the risk is reasonabley high. I would recommend to check the following on any inferno 182 regardless of whether it is being bought from a dealer/private sale.
1. Engine number with the potential V5 that the car is being sold with.
2. Signs for a minor rear end repair. (quality repair, but with a keen eye there was some evidence of it.
3. Normal stuff such as VIN plate on drivers B pillar/dash.
Also I would check all the above on an inferno regardless of whether it is a CUP or Full fat, potentially the car could now be a cup.... becuase it had buckets in it when stolen, and if you didnt know the spec, it would be easy to stick a dynamique interior in it.
It maybe too late, but would rather give people a shot to miss out on it and also help me trace it.
Cheers
