Warranty not covering PAS sensor.........

.......just taken out a policy with warrantywise and they are refusing replacement of a PAS sensor. Would this fall under any of the following?

Rack and pinion, steering box, power steering rack and pinion, power steering box, pressure pipes, idler box, hydraulic and electrical power steering pump, reservoir, steering column joints and bearings, track rod ends

a sensor isn't a wear and tear item IMO, so if the cars under 3 years old they should be replacing it.

If it's an aftermarket warranty - they don't like paying out for much.

Aftermarket warranty IMO are a waste of time and a bunch of money grabbers!!! On that note I hope you get them to cough up and get it sorted

Sounds normal to me, most are a con.

I had one before on a old car and they tried to get out of everything.

They will enjoy it when they receive my letter of complaint - cover most items (steering pump, rack, etc) so not sure why they won't cover a sensor.

Working for a large insurance co. they should treat customer service over money saving!
