Warranty question - simple oil change.

Hi guys I would read my warranty docs, but they are 150 miles away in my flat!
I'm planning on having my clio serviced at 11.000 miles(1.2..don't laugh!), and the missus knows a bloke who retired after selling his garage. I know the parts used must be genuine Renault to maintain the warranty, but is there anythng else that MUST be done/used to avoid invalidation?
Sorry to say but the warranty is important due to the miles that i have to commute.
Thanks

Oil wont affect your warrant as long as you use the right kind.

Bit early for a service on a 1*2 though, are they not 18000 or 2 years?

You can not change the engines oil to many times. The newer the oil is, the better is it for the engine. I personally change oil every 15K km (9.5K miles).

yes it is 18,000 miles, but unless someone can show me that it is a good idea to leave it that long then i think it's far too long to wait. The car does do about 60 miles per day on the M3, would that make it more necessary to change the oil early?
Thanks for the quick response

Its best to chnage the oil regardless of how its driven.

Just got to have a VAT registered stamp on the service book.
