Warranty Question

Would my april 04 182 be covered under warranty for a driveshaft. When it was serviced a couple of months back, renault said o/side gaiter was holed. Apparently this isn't available separately and i've been quoted around £300..

Gaiater are avaialible but don't bother get a new driveshaft try a breakers yard for the part its relitivly easy to fit though .

It should be covered under warently how scome the repair wasn't done when it was serviced?
