Wash mitt and car wash

its come that time again were my mitt has had it and i am almost out of car wash.....

as for car wash i was using gold class..


can anyone recommend any new products that will be better or are my choices still good?

Duragloss 901 gets my thumb up. Smells of cherries..

I wasn't too impressed with the serious performance wash mitt , it was too thin and didn't hold much water . I use mine just on the alloys I prefer the Meguiars wash mitts personally .

As for shampoo , i've tried lots of different ones but i always go back to the Extreme Body Wash N Wax . cliosport discount too from here :

And i dont like mits really so this microfibre shaped sponge is great:

Then i do SRP followed by a coat of nattys poorboys blue wax and it always impresses me.

SwissVax Wash Puddel & I use Car wash n wax from Chemical guys.

Zymol autowash or Chemical Guys Citrus wash n Gloss...both leave an unmatched finish especially if using filtered water..

i still use either nxt or gold class shampoo and a schmit from chemical guys.....

they say most of the marks are instigated when you dry your car.

chemical guys do an awesome drying towel - mega plush that ive been using for the last few weeks http://www.chemicalguysuk.com/product_p/ultpldry.htm so far no more swirls.

Out of a few mitts ive used i like the turtlewax noodle, £10 from halfords iirc. Holds plenty of water and very soft.

Any CG shampoo tbh... best is bodywashnwax. I have tried AG, Meg's, and Zymöl, best stuff is still washnwax

Used with 2 buckets, a good wash mitt, AG blade and micropak drying towel... nothing else needed !

Agree with Guysy and Christophe, those Microfibre sponges are quite nice to work with especially if you're not that keen on mitts

For washmitts though I quite like the sheepskin one from chemicalguysuk (£6.99) and for lower panels and sills, the Sonus Der Wunder Microfibre mitt

Still sticking with Rich's reccomendation of Duragloss, leaves a lovely crisp finish. Have compared it with the Zymol Autowash and think its superior.
Whats this about the Sonax though?

Sonax Gloss Shampoo is a damn nice wash, I used to be able to get it cheap from Vauxhall, but my local dealer no longer stocks it so I have gone over to Duragloss saving the small amounts of Sonax I have left for best.

I don't use a mitt as a mitt, I still hold them like sponges as it is much quicker.

You should get one of those MF sponges then Rich, they are good tbf!
