So my recent purchase came complete with non functional windscreen washers.
I today removed the pump and trimmed down the rubber.
When I pulled the pump out all the screen wash poured out of the washer bottle (I removed the pump with the bottle in situ, upon trimming down the pump and reinserting it, unlike before I removed it, the pump doesn't seem to form a seal. It is the style with the bit sticking down at the bottom. How badly have I cocked up? Is it a case of replacing a rubber seal and it working or do I need to actually pull the washer bottle out of the car to fix it?
