Washer bottle

Is the washer bottle from a 172 Cup smaller than a washer bottle from a 172?
Also would it be okay to use the one from the cup as I don't need the second pump for the headlight washers as they are disconnected.

cup = same as 1.2 etc

I already have the old one out so it's not too bad.
Is there an easier way of taking it out without taking the whole wiper assembly out?
