Watchin ffilms on PC

Right, if got this problem that keeps P*ssing me off,

when i watch ffilms on my pc and want the screen to full size the ffilm goes slower and maybe freezes, but if i leave it small its perfect

any1 kno the problem here ?

Ah fwk lol, but since upgrading to vista it has happend, on the Xp it was perfect..

I was forced to have vista cause new machines don't come with xp any more

start up time is longer and crashes way too much, oh the joys...

ye Vista is s**t, i upgraded myself lol. regret it now tho,.. well iv only upgraded the Ram to a 1gb. cant be arsed payin £20 to get it reformated to Xp tho.

Ahh thought some one was ripping you off, a tard could install XP!
I got an MSDN liscence so I can download anything MS have ever done..... ever lol

I wish I hadn't gone to vista just cant be bothered to reinstall everything!

How much RAM have you got? I find that not enough RAM slow/freezes.

1GB iv got... cant do more as when i put the other 512mb in it didnt work, so had to remove it..

vista absorbs stupid amounts of memory, remove the crappy desktop gizmo things, chill the aero stuff out, see what programs are running in the system tray and kill anything not needed see if it helps

Im running 1gb ddr and no probs btw

avnt got any s**t on my comp really, as b4 i had over 20gb ov music on the comp slowed it down, now iv transfered it to my External Hard drive.. stupid programs have been moved, just got the basics really.

wouldn't a simpler idea just be to disable the aero interface and run basic while you want to watch your films? It's in the control panel
