Water filter for car washing

Anyone tried one of these. i am in a hard water area and it really annoys me when i just rinse the car off and it gets limescale spots all over... looks dirtier than before i washed it!!!

if u dry your car u shouldnt get them

as for hard water areas , i wouldnt believe it

and using any thing like that will reduce water pressure on the out hose. i peronally have a 3 stage filter for fish tanks wich gives 0ppm water (ro water) , this only produces 100 gallons a day under optimum pressure

Yopu're shitting me, filter the water before you wash the car....next you lot will be buying distilled water

can't always be arsed to dry the car... and the pressure drop was my main worry.

figured someone on here who's spent £100's on PC polisher, synthetic waxes and do-do feather wash mitts might have had a bash with one of these. perhaps not eh?

No idea, i don't wash my car, i take it to shows and have it washed for me

The flash carwash thing you can get from most supermarkets filters the water, they're only about £30. You could just get a decent leather and wipe it off.
