Water leak passenger front footwell

I noticed that water is running down the inner sill trim into the footwell. When I opened the door the small groove in the seal was full of water so running into the car. Anyone else had this or know how to stop it happening? Hope this makes sense.

check drainage holes under the sills mine got blocked with sand or gritty s**t and gave me a duck pond in the car, i poked mine with a fork tooth, theres 3 along the inner sill, there only tiny.
