Water Leak

Hi all.

My Ph1 172 is leaking a lot of water and have located it to be at the back of the engine bay. However i cannot locate exactly where the leak is.

Is there a pipe at the back of the bay that it could be leaking from?

There is no water in the oil either!

Im so confused :S

there's 2 coolant pipes behind the gearbox that go into the heater matrix, never seen one leak though

Fred i think your right about it being one of them two pipes too the heater matrix.

Taken another look tonight and on one of them there is a lot of residue on one side, and underneath there is watery s**t as well.

How much would it cost to get this replaced do you all reckon?
