Water pump torque

Is there an special order to torque the water pump bolts?

I smeared the gasket with a very light coating Loctite 5660 on both surfaces, which held it in place on the block face nicely. I then did bolts up on a semi star pattern to 10Nm, then went round and nipped them up to 15Nm, book it 17 I think but they don't feel especially happy at that.

Zero leaks several months later. Renault manual may well say different and if you use sealant like me you should obviously use the smallest amount possible. TBH this is how I put all water pumps on and I never have any issues.

Great will follow that,
Last time I didn't use additional sealant to the gasket, and 4 years now didn't leak.

Honestly the sealant doesn't hurt, but is very useful for holding the gasket in place especially if you are doing the job with the engine in the car.
