Wax on trim?

Im not asking the usual how to remove it, but how about applying it on black trim?

Saw over on DW rich saying he used Zymol carbon for black trim. Without having to buy that in particular, are there any other waxes that can be used like that on black trim and if so whats the benefit over a gel or black wow?

I have not risked trying anything other than the Carbon.

The only benefit is on unweathered good condition trim it protects and leaves a totally natural appearance with no danger of streaking.

i suppose it would be the solvents in the waxes that could potentially cause problems?
