Web Design Help. .mov file

I need som ehelp with regard to a website I am doing for my brother in law. I have a .mov file on a webpage which I exported using Quicktime pro on a PC. Plays ok on Internet explorer, but nothing on pc safari browser and was told nothing on Mac either. What could be the problem.

IIRC you must use different embed tags for it to work on IE than for every other browser.

EG. you have it working on IE, but for every other browser you must use different tags to embed the video.

It has a sound track against it that my brother in law's friend did. Didn't want it on there as somthing to do with copyright.

Now all I have to do is put a watermark on the vid, any ideas?
