Its the same car bar a different manifold and obviously the suspension on the cup packs.

Remove rear seats and boot floor, remove front seats and fit buckets, fit lighter wheels... ?

well the 182 hasnt got a spare wheel and the spare wheel well? the lack of metal and the wheel combined could make that ?

Could be, I know a Dynamique alloy weighs 15kg with a Conti on it.

Haven't started yet, i've only had it a week! lol

Dont wanna fit buckets, as i've done that before, and couldn't do without the comfort these days.
Back seats i will lose at some point, and the boot floor probably, and the spare wheel.

Hmmm, i'll do it somepoint and weigh it all!

Got rid of the spare wheel for starters...

A standard 172 wheel + tyre was about 17KG IIRC. They also removed the wheel well where the tyre would have sat.
