weird Problem with clock / temp display

When you turn your engine on the clock display comes on, with the temp below the clock. This is not happening now, it only comes on when the lights are on. Also when i usually turn the engine off, the radio should turn off. But now it just stays on and i have to press the off button on the radio itself!!

Anyone know what the problem might be?
