Welded Diff

Ok just my clio back from mechanic after the gearbox went. Aperantly my diff had been welded previously. Why on earth would someone weld the diff in a clio and what effect would this of had on it? I know you can weld the diff in a rwd car for drifting but why in a clio? Cheers, matt

Aye i never knew about it and aparently thats what ended up causing gearbox to go along with the driveshaft lol

On a 1.2 as well, lol I'd re-weld it tbh, the torque steer is going rip your f**king arms off now you don’t have LSD

haha ill just convert it to rwd with all that horsepower under the bonnet ill be taking on skylines etc lol Awk well is sorted now but confuses me why people do these things lol
