@dann2707 when you tried flux core did you reverse the polarity?


Especially for £60! even if its complete crap you will still get the job done!

Seen that in a video I've seen and on the linked one at least on the 99 and 175 quid ones you swap the polarity on the front I believe. Not sure on the 60 quid one..

Maybe just go for this one, nice middle of the road, will get me welding for less than £150 all in.
