Are you just passed the Tramway there Paul, i was in there having a carvery just after dinner yesterday didnt notice anything. I had an almost identical thing happen, same wheel, after getting new discs fitted, just started hearing knocking everytime i took my foot off the gas coming home along the prom. Got home had a look and all 4 bolts were almost off. I think if one bolt comes loose they all work loose pretty rapidly!!

it was down the other end where the tram tracks run through cleveleys right outside subway and eclipse people were taking pics on their phones lol local celebrity

Its the freakin roads round here, there bad enough to shake rattle and roll anything to pieces. I have no idea where are council and road tax goes......O yeahh, scrap that, it goes on paying the f***ing electricity bill for the Illuminations...

fitted half 4 friday night
wheel came off 10 saturday morning lol not even a day
they were on okay the nuts just seemed to have worked free they guy looking said it looked like someone yanked the wheel off the thread on the nut had all sort of bent like it had been pulled :S

garage has ordered me a new wing but been pretty busy so they havent had a proper look yet hopefullly today or tomorrow ill have a bit more info

Bugger! On the plus side, your car looked nice and low.

Any one interested in longer wheel bolts should give K-Tec a ring. They sell 'em. I'm running 10mm spacers with the K-Tec bolts and have absolutely no problem at all. Just make sure all four wheels are torqued correctly.

Who was it in this thread that said they're running 10mm spacers with the standard bolts...!?

ive got 10mm ones on my rear wheels and just put the normal bolts in... got me worried now lol

I've had delta mic 25mm spacers and bolts on for a few months now without a problem but I'm seriously considering changing the bolts now.
The delta mic bolts are a bit smaller than the wheel bolts I think so which ones can I use to replace them?

This nearly happened to me with my Delta Mic hubcentrics, had a knocking sound took it to the garage and they didn't know how the wheel hadn't come off......very lucky to say the least

Theres nothing wrong with spacers if you buy the right ones.

theres nothing wrong with the delta mics spacers,

just the bolts are a joke,

i snapped on off trying to torque it up,

now im going to change them all,

can someone recommend a good set of bolts with short heads??

i need 16

Sorry to resurrect an old thread.. but does anyone have any recommendations on where to buy bolts to change for delta mic spacers? Can you use standard ones from another clio and just shorten them?
