Any pics of it not in a tent?!
Looks mint!

I love this car.

My mates Aston lives in a car coon and when he went to australia for 14 months, upon his return, the Aston was mint. Not a single spec of dust on it.

They are a brilliant invention and a must for someone storing a car properly.

Wish I had the space to keep my Williams in one of them. RS looks great As always Marc.

You buy the carcoon and i will store it for you BUT i cant tell you where its kept as its away in a secret wee place

Now thats Commitment! Is such an epic car! Do you need to keep blowing it up or does it hold the air for a while?

Its got two small filters with fans that blow a constant air flow into it and it keeps it up, there is a air flow system in it where you open the back up and it cause a flow system where it takes all the condensation and dampness out so your car is damp and dust free.

My mate has the same shape escort at this. He uses his for rallying thou and is in much worse shape than this one lol.

we painted it the other day in fact :)

Do you leave windows open mate, or do you keep the car sealed up when it's in there? I have no idea how these carcoon work you see, great products

Epic!

I'm also surprised how cheap those carcoons are, I thought they'd be silly money but the seem quite reasonable!

I've text Ali but assuming its size 2 for a Clio it's £305 , and seemingly if left on all the time costs no more than £15 a year to run!

Its manly for the dust I'm wanting one as my garage is pretty damp free

Lol! I'm only two years younger than you!

I'm not getting into it. Everyone goes bananas. :o

If it was a Mk1 Mexico, you'd have a point.

In time this will be as good and as mint as an MK1 Mexico, it takes time and things so the better I keep this now the longer it will last and become an icon.

the car has an agreed value of £8000 on it so no matter what happens to it that what I get.

The car will be opened roughly once a month and started up and driven down to the house and back up (around 1/4 of a mile)
The fluids and tyres get all checked during this time.

The carcoons come in different sizes and I have seen one in a small single garage, the fans stay on 24/7 and its penny's to run a year.
it also has a battery conditioner so it pays back itself with not having to buy a battery every year.
The bonnet is open and the windows are down about 5mm but as it has the air flow system you don't need to do this as that clears the dampness and moisture.

No dust or dirt can get into the carcoon as it has big air like filters on the front.

Here is the sizes of carcoons you can get.

What size is your one Marc? Would a Clio v6 fit in it and in a garage?

im thinking size 2 from the website... Which shows a 911 inside one
