I've had the cobras, and was never 100% happy. Quality is poor imo, and the sliding subframes are laughable tbh. 5 weeks will DRAG but something to look forward too!!! Where you sourced them from?

I have the trophy trendlines, but i must say for a fixed bucket they are awsome :approve:

they look mint far better than the treadlines, those look like proper seats the treadlines are too much of a cop out with there high seating position and lack of support those ones should hold you nice and low and tight

How are you going to mount them ? Sidemounted seats won't fit the car on sliding subframes unless you know something I don't (which is very possible).

the side mounts just bolt to the clio, recaro runners, these are not subframes as such...just sliders

the sidemounts bolt to the seat (obviously) lol

and the seat/sidemount then mounts onto this..

which will fit the existing clio holes as its a specific slider, and give sliding movement on the seat, there is also slight angle adjustment through the various mouting points on the sidemounts where you bolt the seat on.. see the pic..

the clio seat mounting holes are at different heights, you normally need a sub frame, runners and side mounts,

Here is a pic of my cobra sub frame which shows the height difference, other 2 holes are at the level it drops down to...

Ok here is a thought...the recaro runners maybe go onto the OEM clio frames??
the sidemounts then join onto the recaro runners??

Im new to all this seat business..all I want is it to be..

1) very neat
2) nice and low
3) slideable for different drivers
4) easy to change back to OEM for selling

im still waiting on these

still dont have a definititve solution of actually getting them in the car either

yozzasport said they will fabricate some subframes up for me, to suit my height etc...but the other option is to ditch the sliders completely and just bolt the subframes to the sidemounts..

stressed! trendlines would have been easier lol
