WEP Key For WLAN

Hey

Im tyring to connect my N80 to wireless internet at home and its askin me to enter the WEP key. Does anybody know where i find this, and what i need to enter.

Any help would be great.

It will be on the setup of your router. Need to go on a PC and connect to the router setup. Usually accessed by typing the ip address in a web browser. Probably http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1 It will be in there under wireless security or something.

^^ as above .. and try not to use WEP if you can is it can be cracked in about 10-15 minutes. Use WAP or WAP2

Nah, ive got a windows laptop (and a linux one actually) and widows servers in my work.. I use them.. I aint stupid though I do what needs to be done to earn the ££££

Tell the truth KDF. You use Linux alot, but it feels like you are missing something, so you stash a secret XP rig under your bed with your p**n and only use it when your moist. Just a dirty little secret, we wont tell.

does using wpa slow down the connection to other computers that are linked and the 360 etc?

i use wep but im surrounded by old people who most probably dont use the internet anyway.

password: password

or

username: admin
password: BLANK(ie. NOTHING)

change it as soon as possible

If you use WEP, make sure your router and phone are using the same bit encryption ie 64 bit and both are using Hexidecimal for example.
