What aftermarket head unit to keep steering wheel controls

As above but i want to keep my steering wheel controls, the car is a 182 clio.
Im guessing it will be a lead that i will need, would prefer a half decent unit too.
Any info appreciated,

From my limited reasearch it appears you buy the steering wheel control harness for a clio: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=10271 And then you buy the adaptor for your head unit, depending on brand, which can be seen in the "recommended" section in the info boxes beneath the picture for the above link, e.g. this: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/connects2-can-bus-kenwood-adaptor.html Personally however, I do not have a clue where the 3.5mm stereo jack comes in, which is pictured on about 4/5 of the adaptors available?!?!


Alternatively you gain steering wheel controls + auxilary connectivity via this method: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/show...standard-headunit&highlight=auxilary+ipod+mp3 However the stock headunit is rubbish quality tbh. Mind you the stock speakers seem pretty rubbish (as in, even for stock speakers) too.
