It says to make sure the wireing and switch's are rated upto 20amp im asking because its the first bulbs ive seen with this type of warning on and i dont want to fry the wires
100/12=8.3 amps!!! personally i wouldn't bother a mate of mine done this on his 5 series and burnt out the transistor in the control unit for the headlights causing them to stay on all the time. plus they are illegal on the road
Ill leave it then cheers i just want brighter bulbs than standard because of the funny shifts i do 8/10 i dont see any other cars on the way or on way home from work and mainly have high beam on but mine atm seem pretty dim to what they should be
Just get some better quality/colour lamps, like Osram Night Breakers or something. 100w lamps are illegal and you run the risk of melting the headlight lens/case, along with the wiring and/or switches.

I run 100w high beams, because I only use them on a really dark country road and IMO its safer that its brighter and the other thing is for people who dont turn their beams off. One flick with the beams and they turn their's off straight away.
I I have flashed police and people infront of the police and they havent said anything. They dont look that bright until you compare it with someone elses beams.
