lol if u had the original wheels or some 15s on the gtt it would out handle the 16v eazy.
Dont know who told you that? i ve got the autocar test of the 5 turbo vs the 16v and while there simular 0-60 the 16v was considered to handle better.

i would say that the 16v handles beter even when i has 15s on my 5!

As for the 0-60 times, "if" you can get traction it should be pulling about 5.9 - 6 seconds!

the tax will be £100.00 per year on a 5 gt (unless its gone up!!)

a valver is about £170.00 (i cant remember exactly)

Below 1,500cc its 85ish for 6 months and 105ish for a year

Above, 85ish for 6 months and 155ish for a year.

New cars go by emmissions though.

Ive never been impressed with 1/4 mile times of GT Turbos.. all seem to be about 15 - 17.. which is very Valverish.

Ive seen one do 1/4 in like 15.5 seconds, but only returning like an average of 20mpg in normal driving.. heh.

You might get cheaper Tax, but Im sure itll make up for it in petrol!

Buttttttt, you can tune them well, pretty cheaply I think.. definetly more tuneable than a Valver.

Think Im gonna get a Fezzy Turbo, sod the cheap tax I just want something that goes fast and doesnt cost an arm an a leg to fix!
