What are symptoms of failing Drive Shaft?

Have just ordered some new ones for the 205 and you couldn't miss the sound of it. Loud knocking which worsens when turning and going over bumps.

No knocking sounds, Just the feeling of an earth quake trying to shake my front Passenger side wheel and suspension off when under load.... Maybe not a drive shaft then?

this is definately a driveshaft. ill put money on it being the inner knuckle joint on the driverside shaft :D

Well its in with Renault Watford this morning, so fingers crossed they can work it out (Would have taken it else where but they are 30 seconds from work)

Well nothing found by the dealer. They didn't balance my wheels as said it would be pointless as tyres are low 2mm front and 3mm rear.

So in the hunt for some decent tyres!

Found PE3's for just over £80 might try them as my PE2's have been good. Otherwise not sure what to put on, can't find Hankooks in stock anywhere.

Well new Tyres / and another set of wheels have ruled out the Wheel Balancing.

Its strange there is no noise from anything, and it only seems to happen under load...

ive had this happen on 225's but havent had it on a clio yet but this sounds like its the n/s drive shaft inner coupling. this is in the diff but is easly changeable in position(with shaft out) is it worse at bout 3500 onwards when u give it the beans ?

Not really noticed what RPM, but it starts from 50-60mph when putting your foot down in all gears

inner drive shaft coupling is different to (inner joint) its what the joint runs on it is in the box but is detachable and it gets out of shape from jhe joint this is what makes it shake like hell
