what are the lowest coilovers

hi guys got apex springs on my 172 cup and it still sits high heard you cant get sports very low

whats the best price and makes for clio 172/182s

how low can you go

whats the normal price to get them set up

just want to get it on the floor for the pod plus want it to look very low

Fred fitted mine but was a long time ago. his was on FK's at that time.

Mine hadn't settled then hense sitting a little high in the picture

have heard the older shape 172s go lower

nope! springs will settle (sag) regardless what setup you have (coilovers or normal shocks and springs)

i've fitted coilovers and then get a phone call 6-12months later saying the wheels are scrubbing, this happens for 2 reasons

1) the springs aren't as hard as they were when new
2) the owner has changed brand of tyres (different shape sidewalls/shoulders but same size)

if you want a stupidly low clio, i'm the man to speak to!

i am on 17s with falken tyres (really good side wall) and have a 172 cup

in got apex 40mm springs at the mo

where you based

i am in kent

ps once these springs are off the car i will have 2 sets of apex springs for sale so pm me anyone wanting a set

what offset are the wheels? do you just want the car decked, nothing else?

just as low as i can get it mate

take it it would have to be coilovers

wheels are kei fin 7

dont know the ofset

i can do the arch work mate unless its not much

i had 18s for a bit the arches seam not to bad did not have to do any arch work for the 18s

but i can see there is prob still some needed for decked on 17s

mine sits VERY low on FK's but the back runs on the bump stops when you have weight in the back! going to raise it a bit again, only slightly.

probably going for H&R or the yozza Bilsteins on my mk1 172 when i get the car and some cash.
