What best bulbs for my 172 cup headlights?

  PH2 172
Last year i put some Philips xenon look headlight bulbs in my lights but recently 1 of the bulbs blew. So i am now thinking what is the best bulbs i can get which our going to be nice and bright and give out a nice blue colour like the xenons?? Pics and ideas would be great!!

I must admit if there are any decent 'xenon look' bulbs I'd be in.

I've always thought they were a load of cack.

I'd like something with a blue tint also.

some xenon lights are illegal though arent they? theres also a full conversion you can do but this has an additional power source and is expensive. Id like some xenon bulbs for around £20 that wont blow or blind anyone! any ideas?

The Halfords super brilliance bulbs are really good, have had a set in both my cups now. So much better at night.

are the Halfords super brilliance bulbs expensive? im guessing they are just to replace the stock bulbs and dont need any extra kit etc?

Which bulbs should I buy?

I'm happy with the light output of the standard lights, I just want to get rid of the nasty yellow look and cba with splashing out on hids etc, not keeping the car that long.

Want a blue tint, I think that would look sexy on a blue cup!

  clio 1.2 16v,
if you can find a mate with a trade card yes, halford bulbs are shocking, (own brand) under tests they come out worse also with the lowest cost of build. but if you can get them cheap then its a yes

Just put in nightbreakers until it gets lighter in the evenings in the summer.

My white bulbs are good and work well, But i just want that extra bit of vision.

The nightbreakers are definatly orange compared to my white sidelights, But if your not bothered about all that then there definatly worth it!
