What car shall i get?

well i already kind off know what car im getting. anyway would like to know your opinions.

conditions- im 19, has to be a turbo!! would like a light car and jap. and want to spend 3.5 on it max, as i will be spending alot of money on the engine.

what about an mr2 mate? can tune those up nicely and very quick out of the box......

yeh i have budgeted alot for insurance, i am planning on a toyota gt turbo as they as amazingly quick. i saw a nice mr2 gt t-bar 300bhp, for 3.5 but was totally modded and sprayed yellow.

im not really worried bout the looks, as long as its winning 1/4 miles. they are light weight alloys. but there are some really nice examples i have seen.

was consider gettin it but the price was a bit high, 4.5, also insurance was a problem at my age. goin to wait until 21 in march and look a decent jap car or not clio 172 mk1, lovin those at the mo.

well ive heard from a local jap tuner there is one running 300hp in my area. and they only need 180 hp to run a 14's which isnt alot of modding on them.

I think the rear is a little ugly, but when I put my foot down I couldnt care less. Running 1bar at moment, so probs running around 170bhp or so. Not bad for 900kg chassis.

Nah mate its fine. Little run down on the spec below. Once rolling road tuned in the near year with new manifold, I am hoping for a really nice result, but that will be the stock turbo's limit.

Yeah, only good for 1bar really. Might go for a TD04 (Impreza) set up next year.
