What Cars Have you Had

Mine: age 17, J reg Nova Saloon 1.2i, complete pile of cac. Still see it around!!! Sold it after a year and 14k (all I could stand)

age 18, S reg, standard 1.1 Saxo. Drove it around for 6 months did 11k in it paid 3k for it and sold it for the same money!

Age 19, W Reg, 1.2 8v mk2 Punto. Bought BSA 15" alloys and an Arbarth Bodykit, looked well nice but the car was a pile of sh*te. Traded in at Renault when I found out the headgasket was going at 33k, now a girl I used to go to primary school is driving it around! Poor girl!!!

Now, Age 20, Brand new Clio Billabong 1.2 16v. Nothing done to it yet as im waiting until I start my placement year and have some cash!!!

Been sat in my parents garage for months though and I aint using it, so I reckon its time to sell it...

Looks pretty standard on the outside, but it;s got plenty of "tweaks" where it counts and certainly does shift!!!

1: Fiesta XR2 86/C (cheap run-around)

2: Fiesta XR2 89/F (great car, one owner 50k)

3: Fiesta XR2i 90/G (worst car I have owned - shocking handling)

4: Fiesta RS1800 95/M (most expensive car, £9500, too slow)

5: VW Golf MK2 16V Gti 92/J (most unreliable car ive owned so far)

6: Fiesta RS Turbo 92/K (27K, 1 Lady owner v.v.nice)

7: Fiesta RS1800 94/M (Sister now has it)

8: Fiesta RS Turbo 92/J (Rarest car, only 71 made Moondust silver, 165bhp)

9: Clio Williams 2 95/M (best all round car but miss my turbo power)

Well due to the Clio being in the bodyshop for half of the 3 years ive had it, Ive had a few other cars in between. The list is as follows.

First - K Reg Clio 1.4RT bought for £2100 - spent about £12,000 since - Its been crashed twice and almost rolled once but you cant tell - Current demo car

Second - E Reg Escort XR3i - turned out to be 2 cars, ran out of oil so the engine seized.

Third - G Reg old blocky shape Rover 216SE - Clutch went within 4 hours and stangely it wouldnt turn right.

Fourth - E Reg Renault 21 2.0 Savanna - totally reliable car till I crashed into a police car on an island....oops!!!

Fifth - K Reg Peugeot 605SV 3.0L 24v V6 - Great car until the gearbox selector gave up. Managed 147mph in the rain down the M42. Best toy i ever had and the electric seats were fun to play with. Also had an off into a field at 80mph down a country lane. Ill be buying another one of these sometime to play with.

Sixth - L reg Rover 420SLi - picked it up for £60, ran well but developed problems so sold it for £10 6 months later - 127mph top end and similar acceleration to the Peugeot.

Seventh and current runabout - E Reg Jaguar XJ6 2.9 Manual - bought for £600 and totally reliable but for sale due to high maintainence costs. £170 for a tyre..hmm I could get one of the 215/35/18s replaced on the Clio for less than that.

Next Car - in the next couple of years ill either be buying a Supra twin turbo or a Dodge Viper...depends how the funds go.
