Exactly! Went to put a scorpion decat on it today which replaced standard cat and had no chance I can't work out why it's like that and the scorpion seemed too short too and it was deffo the right one

It's back at the shop now I took it back. It's on eBay the £57 scorpion 182 one.
It won't fit I know for a fact what I need help with is what decat would fit cus I don't really fancy a chop and weld bodge jobbie.
With the cat I've got now it has 2 nuts on one flange and 3 on the other if that help?? Any ideas??

It could have had a custom decat before you bought the car. Some garages cut and weld the flanges to make it easier to swap come MOT time.

Looks like your cat has had the restriction removed and a flange fitted to replace the pisspoor standard cat/resonator joint in a similar fashion to this. Other than that, seems to be a standard 182 cat.
