What clio and are you bored with it

Just wondering what clio you drive, how long youve had it, and are you bored with the performance yet??

For me its a mk1 1.4rt, had it for nearly a year and really want something faster now :devilish:

  CLIO WILLIAMS #0215

williams 3 and ive had it for just under 2 months now and theres no way im bored with it yet!

1.8 16v

Had it over a year and a half and am not really bored with the performance.

Bought it standard (137bhp) and is now running approx 160bhp.

Doesnt help when my brother has a 250bhp Escort Cossie that eats me for breakfast though lol.....

Got my Clio 16v last september, so thats 6 months, its provisionally sold but that doesnt mean im selling it because im bored with it. far from it.

172, had it for yonks now.. not bored with it yet.. which is suprising seeing as I had never owned a car for more than 1 year before.

  ex Clio 172 owner :(

Had a 1.4RT Clio and loved it. Had never really driven anything faster so didnt know what faster meant. Never got bored of it, it turned plenty heads. God bless the old RT. Loving the 130bhp vts. Still gonna go back to Renault next though, for a Cup.

1.5 dci had it 19 months. Need more power but the amount of cash Ive lost already on it makes me keep rethinking the idea of changing.

Also the fact that insurance is an arm and a leg for me and then fuel + tyres would kill me. My tyres atm only last 15k with my little dci a 172 would last about a week.

  172 Cup

got a clio 16v on a m plate like the car a lot had it for 2 years now getting a bit board with the lack of power now so thats why i am going for a tuned williams lump. she keep me interested for another year or so!

16 month old 1.2 8v, happy with the reliability, and build quality - everything apart from the engine which is proper weedy. 2 litres of 172 is what Im wanting next.

Had a 172 for 9 months.

Bit board of the power, but i have to wait till I get a job closer to Home. Then im going to buy a Rice Rocket!!

172 for nearly 3 yrs.

Not bored at all - lurve the cars power + stealth looks - hate the fecking dealers + renault muppet mechanics who dont know the fecking cars theyre working on.

1.4RT had it Since last July, before i only hada 1.1 Fiesta (just passing test) so the 1.4RT i was like :D to be honest now... its still good fun to drive, car is so bloody light.

i gotto admit tho the acceleration has bored me now, and every time i hit 100 it doesnt feel like its sticking to the road properly.

16V or 306 1.9TD (dont laugh ;)) or 1.6 16V Astra (depending on ££ at the time) could be possible cars next on list.

Hence the boredom...

I love my Clio Cup, its enthraling and exciting to drive all the time, I have a long Journey up and down the A2 from Kent to London and back 3 days a week to work and I love the journey at about 04:45 in the early hours of the morning.

I used to nearly fall asleep at the wheel in my old 206, I have never felt like that in the Cup, I love it......................

Ive had my Williams 3 for about a year now, and I had a Williams 3 before that too. Not bored with it at all, its a fantastic car and brings a smile to my face every day :)

However, when I read the review of the 182 in EVO I went ahead and ordered one. Bit hasty perhaps but I fancied something new and it was either that or an Impreza. Glad I chose the 182 but will sorely miss the Williams if and when it moves on. So in a week or so Ill have two Clios parked up outside. :)

Got a mk2 1.4 s for a year now. Occasionaly get bored but can never find anything comparable for the cost. Bit pissed off just now as it needs 2 new driveshafts!

  Fiat Coupe 20v turbo

Had my Williams 2 for 11 months now and am looking for more performance, will be tuning or getting a new car, will have to be something with stealthy performance though.

  Clio 197

Ragnotti. Completely and utterly bored. Very tedious driving at the ring. 1100km on the track so far this weekend. Yeah, really bored silly, I am.

I really miss the Climate Control, Leather, ICE, and all those amusing civilised things.

Well actually, a rear wiper and a spare tyre would be nice...

  190 BHP Willy 2

1.8 16v had it for 3 1/2yrs and im wanting turbo power now. Am looking for a Escort RST to tune to 200bhp. No laughing, I loved my mk4 Escort before my clio and would quite happily have one again. I could go buy a cup but cant really justify the money, would rather spend 3k on a RST and 2k engine mods or a 2.1 zvh conversion.

have a clio dynamique 1.216v had it for about 2 years and yeah get tired of racing 1.2s  Hoping to upgrade to a faster car soon.

ive had valvers for two years now and my current one for the majority of that time and theres no way im bored with it! theres so much i can do to it if i do! although i am saving for my bb tuning turbo as it just doesnt seem as fast as it used to!

regards

Williams 2 - 1 year 2 months.

Now the longest car ive owned most cars only last 6 months in my drive (had about 10 cars)

Picked the Williams as it had the looks, handling and perfomance I wanted and the econemy without having to mod it. The biggest plus was it turned out faster as standard than I had thought it would be.

Once you start modding you usually cannot stop so the cars standard and staying that way.;)

Hope to keep it another year - depends on the House, Job, Possible Marrage situation:eek:

  None

Standard 1.2 8v -

Had it for about 7 months, goes quite fast for a 1.2 as its totally standard (at the moment anyway)

  Meg on pistonheads £6995

Love me dCi - IK and Superchips coming.

  Not a Clio

1.8 16v currently for sale had it almost 2 years now i think?
