What colour should I paint my wing mirrors?

Bought a set of mirror covers to paint something random. What do you recommend? Black looks good, but its a bit boring...

Carbon Wrap and lacquer, then spray the other bit of the shell silver, be different

Decided on McLaren rocket red for track, and either carbon wrap or matt black for road.

Just need to find some McLaren red paint now. Anyone know where I can get some?

I was planning on doing them myself, but I may be persuaded, especially if you have the colour code for the McLaren Rocket Red?

Florescent yellow or green, ive got my bullets,diamonds and wheel diamonds florescent yellow but looks green and its abit striking but defo stands out!! Im going to get my wingmirrors the same soon. Ive heard alot on here about sprayshack being the dogs bits with painting so il end up sending mine there if theres a free advertising sticker (wink wink)

What is it with people having such an issue about the whole 'sheep' thing on here? So you have done it before, so what? It's just a bit of fun.

Can't find anything that calls itself rocket red. Asked SprayShack if they have it.

Maybe its old for guys whos had RS clios for years but not to the new guys! Every1 to there own and if people dont like it then who cares as its your car. Rally decals are old but it dont stop the scooby lads putting the gold lettering on their cars

Well finding rocket red has proved impossible, so its either fluorescent orange or fluorescent yellow. Opinions?

Yeah, looked up some pics of the orange paint I saw and brought up a bunch of orange buckets with pumpkins drawn on

Thats the same stuff i used for bullets etc, it comes out more of a green so im not sure if the paint reacts with the primer mate, saying that though the colour that i ended up with is probably more to my taste.

Hi matey, sorry you didnt get a response from us, our bad. I couldnt find any reference for the red on our paint system, i also had a google, but no positive results. So i couldnt get it mixed for you.....

On a side note your looking @£45 +p&p (+VAT) for a pair of mirror caps professionally sprayed (any colour).

TBH that is a good price from sprayshack! Saves all the hassle of doin 1 coat then waiting hours to do the next! Took me around 3 days to do all of mine (had other things to do aswell though!) sprayshacks offer seems to be the way to go

Silver doesnt suit lairy colors whatsoever, so keep it subtle, i like colour coded mirrors, anything else looks plastic cack

Ive just checked and it was actually carplan plastic primer i used mate, was a clear primer iirc, could have been the wrong stuff to use but its done now lol

I've done another set of mirrors matt black using Plastidip for the road. Yellow is just 'for the lols' on track.
