what colour to do my install

hi guys i have finished doing my false floor and now i need to decide what i want to use and what colour to retrim it.

quick pic of the false floor - its not finished here but its basically the same layout just sits much better

the options are

1) black acoustic carpet which will match the sub box so i dont have to retrim that - but its not that hardwearing and sometimes bobbles up.

2) faux leather with sub box retrimmed to match (if so what colours - black or light tan)

3) fake altcantara with sub box retrimmed to match

i am leaning towards the idea of a light tan faux leather do you reckon this will look ok in a silver car

or even better have you got any example pics for me

this is what my brothers one looked like in black faux leather that we did in his old car, except mine wont have the amp window

Personally option 1.

Otherwise the sides of the boot won't match :S

Or are you going to re-trim that aswell

5) Fluffy pink with tassels! and a care bear on the side of the sub box

no really just keep it the same colour as the rest of the boot, it wont look to in your face every time you open the boot believe me anything other than a close resembalance to the rest of the boot will soon become tacky and look horrible

as TOGUSA has said keep it clean looking with standard colors.

Id like to see an amp opposite on a wedged platform but im guessing you use the boot space for other things. Again the factory look will compliment your use of the space

just looked at the carpet on there do you know if you picked this colour

Anthracite Carpet

or this one

Dark Grey Carpet

as yours is a pretty good match for a stock look

also did you find the 70cm width was tight to make it fit or did you have plenty of spare

It was the "Anthracite Carpet" dude. 70cm cuts in fine but there is enough to wrap the carpet over the edge and secure it.
