What could this be?

when i turn a corner in 2nd gear going about 15-20mph i hear a sort of banging rattle coming from the drivers side wheel, is it the bearing? or is it something else like the bushes?

Yes it could be the bearing in the suspension strut, try and tell if its coming from high up in the suspension or lower down. Also make sure your driveshaft gaiters are secure and jack the car up and see if theres any play by rocking the wheel.

when your turning a corner dip the clutch if the noise disappears you may have a gear box issuse.



If the noise is still there then it may be one off may minor things such as the barrings etc

as said sounds like a noise you get when wheel nuts are loose

no they are tight, iv had the noice since iv had the car which is nearly a year.
